rproxy is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.

We are considering re-releasing rproxy under a license that will allow the code to be integrated into non-free software. If you would like to add rproxy functions to your software but the GPL is a problem then please contact us.

The rproxy protocol itself is unencumbered: anyone is free to write, use, and redistribute their own implementation. Again, please contact us to coordinate our development.


rproxy is now in public alpha. A public beta is expected sometime in 2000. Bug reports and comments are very welcome.

Building from CVS

To install from CVS you must retrieve the libhsync and proxy modules. See the file README.CVS in the source directory for further instructions.
